Guidelines
Legal & Rights
This page provides a plain-language overview of some of the rights, permissions, and responsibilities surrounding the JoqniX project.
JoqniX is my VTuber identity and creative project. The project includes my streams, videos, artwork, music, character, lore, website, and other related content.
Because different parts of the project may involve different creators, licenses, and agreements, the rules for one piece of content may not necessarily apply to another.
This page is intended as a general explanation of my policies and is not a substitute for professional legal advice. Individual contracts, licenses, or agreements may contain additional terms that apply to specific content or assets.
Copyright & Creative Work
Creative works associated with JoqniX may involve different creators and rights holders.
This can include:
- Artwork.
- Character designs.
- Live2D models and rigging.
- Music.
- Videos.
- Animations.
- Graphics.
- Logos.
- Writing.
- Software.
- Stream assets.
- Other creative materials.
The fact that something appears in JoqniX content does not necessarily mean that I personally created every part of it.
Where another creator has contributed work to the project, their applicable rights and terms should be respected.
Third-Party Content
JoqniX content may include resources created by other people or organizations.
Examples include:
- Music.
- Sound effects.
- Fonts.
- Graphics.
- Stream overlays.
- 3D assets.
- Software and plugins.
- Stock resources.
- Commissioned artwork.
- Other licensed materials.
These resources may have their own licenses, attribution requirements, usage restrictions, or other conditions.
A resource being used in JoqniX content does not automatically mean that the same resource can be freely reused by someone else.
If you want to reuse a third-party asset, check the original creator's or provider's terms first.
Permissions & Licenses
Some JoqniX-related content may be used under a specific permission, commission, license, or agreement.
These permissions can vary depending on the asset and the person who created it.
For example, permission to use an artwork in a stream does not necessarily mean that the artwork can also be:
- Redistributed as a standalone file.
- Resold.
- Used in another project.
- Modified beyond the permitted use.
- Used for commercial purposes.
- Uploaded to another service.
- Used for AI generation or training.
Always check the applicable terms before assuming that a particular use is allowed.
Fan Works
Fans are welcome to create and share JoqniX-related works within the rules described in the Derivative Works guidelines.
Fan creations remain distinct from official JoqniX content.
Creating a fan work does not automatically give the creator ownership or permission over the original JoqniX material used as its inspiration.
Likewise, referencing JoqniX in a fan work does not automatically make that work official.
For detailed rules about fan creations, see Derivative Works.
Attribution
When a creator or license requires attribution, appropriate credit should be provided.
This can apply to:
- Artwork.
- Music.
- Fonts.
- Software.
- Stream assets.
- 3D resources.
- Plugins.
- Other third-party materials.
For more information about credits and attribution, see Branding & Attribution.
Attribution and permission are separate things. Giving credit does not automatically grant permission to use an asset.
JoqniX Artwork & Models
JoqniX artwork, character designs, models, and related visual materials may involve work created by professional artists and other creators.
Please respect the creators behind these materials.
Do not assume that publicly visible artwork or a model can be downloaded, redistributed, modified, or reused simply because it can be accessed online.
Specific rules concerning fan use of JoqniX artwork, models, voice, and other materials are described in the Derivative Works guidelines.
AI & JoqniX Materials
The use of JoqniX artwork, models, voice, likeness, and other project materials for generative AI is not permitted under the current JoqniX guidelines.
This includes using JoqniX materials for purposes such as:
- Image generation.
- Generative image editing.
- AI voice generation or cloning.
- Training datasets.
- Fine-tuning.
- Machine-learning datasets.
- AI-generated replacements of JoqniX artwork.
- Other generative AI systems using JoqniX materials as inputs or training material.
For the detailed rules and examples, see the Derivative Works guidelines.

- Streaming platforms.
- Music services.
- Payment services.
- Community platforms.

Community Guidelines & Enforcement
The guidelines on this website exist to help establish reasonable boundaries around the JoqniX community and the use of JoqniX-related content.
Depending on the situation, violations of the guidelines may result in actions such as:
- Removal of community content.
- Restriction from community spaces.
- Blocking or banning accounts.
- Requests to stop using certain content.
- Other appropriate actions.
The appropriate response may depend on the circumstances and the nature of the issue.
Not every situation can be covered by a written rule. The guidelines are intended to provide clear expectations, not an exhaustive list of every possible situation.
Changes to These Guidelines
These guidelines may be updated as the JoqniX project develops.
Changes may be made to:
- Clarify existing rules.
- Correct mistakes.
- Reflect changes to the project.
- Reflect changes to available services or platforms.
- Add new guidance.
- Address situations that were not previously covered.
The lastUpdated date at the top of each guideline page indicates when that page was most recently updated.
Questions & Reports
If you are unsure whether something is allowed, please check the relevant guideline first.
For questions, permission requests, attribution questions, or reports concerning JoqniX content, use the appropriate contact method provided on the website.
When reporting an issue, providing the relevant link, screenshots, and a short explanation can help make the situation easier to understand.
Please do not harass, threaten, or publicly target someone while attempting to resolve a dispute.
Final Note
The purpose of these guidelines is to make the boundaries around JoqniX clear while allowing the community to enjoy and create around the project.
Different content may have different creators, licenses, permissions, and requirements, so please take a moment to check the relevant guidelines before reusing something.
Respect the creators. Check the permissions. Protect people's privacy. When in doubt, ask. 🌟
