Derivative Works

Derivative works, also referred to as fan creations, are unofficial creative works inspired by JoqniX, the JoqniX project, or the Onaixia universe.

This includes creative works such as fan art, music, writing, games, animations, clips, translations, and fan-made tools.

These guidelines are intended to encourage creative expression while helping protect the identity, work, and community surrounding the JoqniX project.

What Counts as a Derivative Work?

Derivative works may include, but are not limited to:

• Illustrations, fan art, and cosplay.
• Music covers, remixes, and fan-made audio.
• Fanfiction, comics, and lore-inspired writing.
• Clips, edits, animations, memes, and other transformative videos.
• Fangames, visual novels, and interactive projects.
• Fan-made tools, websites, utilities, and community projects.
• Translations, subtitles, and localized adaptations.
• Creative works inspired by the Onaixia universe.

Derivative works should be created independently by fans and should not be presented as official JoqniX material.

General Requirements

When creating or sharing a derivative work, please follow these basic requirements:

• Clearly identify the work as an unofficial fan creation.
• Give appropriate credit to JoqniX and relevant original creators.
• Do not imply that your work is officially produced, endorsed, sponsored, or affiliated with JoqniX unless you have explicit permission.

JoqniX's Presentation

JoqniX is intentionally presented with a gender-neutral character design.

The character's appearance is not intended to require a particular gender interpretation. People may naturally have different impressions of the character, and ordinary discussion or interpretation is not prohibited.

However, please respect the intended presentation of JoqniX when creating derivative works.

• Creating sexual or pornographic depictions of JoqniX.

Fan Music & Audio

Fans may create music and audio works inspired by JoqniX, subject to the following guidelines.

Permitted

• Covers of officially released JoqniX songs.
• Fan-made remixes and rearrangements.
• Fan-made music inspired by JoqniX or the Onaixia universe.
• Music edits, memes, and transformative audio works.
• Fan-made audio or music videos.

When creating a cover or remix, please credit the original work clearly and link to the official source when available.

• Redistributing original JoqniX songs or official stems without permission.

Fangames and interactive projects should:

The Onaixia universe is the fictional setting surrounding the JoqniX project, including its characters, environments, celestial systems, and narrative themes.

Fans are welcome to explore and reinterpret these elements through their own creative works.

• Comics.
• Alternate universes.
• Lore theories and interpretations.

When using Onaixia lore, please make it clear when your interpretation is unofficial.

You may explore ideas, theories, and alternate interpretations, but please do not present fan-created material as established canon.

AI-Generated Content

JoqniX does not permit the use of JoqniX artwork, models, voice, likeness, or other protected project materials for generative AI purposes.

This policy exists in part to respect the artists, musicians, riggers, and other creators who contribute their work to the JoqniX project.

The current JoqniX model and its associated artwork are the result of professional creative work. Please respect the creators behind that work by not submitting their work or JoqniX project materials to generative AI systems.

Not Permitted

The following uses are not permitted without explicit written permission:

• Uploading JoqniX artwork to image-generation or image-editing AI services for generation or transformation.
• Using the JoqniX model as a reference for generative AI image creation.
• Using JoqniX artwork, model data, or other project assets as training data.
• Training or fine-tuning AI models using JoqniX materials.
• Creating AI-generated images intended to reproduce or imitate the JoqniX model or official artwork.
• Creating AI voice models or voice clones using JoqniX's voice.

AI-Assisted Work

Using ordinary software tools to edit your own original work is different from submitting JoqniX materials to a generative AI system.

However, if a tool uses generative AI to create or substantially transform content using JoqniX materials, the restrictions above apply.

General Prohibited Uses

Regardless of the type of derivative work, the following uses are not permitted:

• Impersonating JoqniX or an official representative.
• Presenting fan creations as official JoqniX material.
• Using unreleased, private, or confidential materials.
• Using official assets without permission where permission is required.
• Using JoqniX artwork, models, voice, likeness, or other project materials for generative AI purposes.
• Creating or distributing sexual, pornographic, or fetish-focused content depicting JoqniX.
• Creating AI-generated sexual or explicit content involving JoqniX.
• Intentionally misleading audiences about the origin or status of a work.
• Creating content intended to harass, defame, or target individuals.
• Bypassing platform restrictions or accessing restricted content.
• Using JoqniX branding to create false affiliation or endorsement.

Reporting Misuse

If you encounter content that appears to misuse JoqniX materials, impersonate the project, falsely claim official affiliation, or violate these derivative-work guidelines, please report it through the appropriate contact method.

When reporting an issue, please provide:
