Guidelines

Community Conduct

These guidelines outline expectations for live broadcasts, chat participation, and other real-time community interactions across platforms such as YouTube, Twitch, and Discord.

The goal is to keep the community welcoming, inclusive, and enjoyable for everyone.

The short version: Be respectful, don't harass people, don't spam, don't backseat, don't spoil, respect boundaries, and let moderators handle problems.

The Basics

Being part of the Konzteller community means helping make the space enjoyable for everyone.

You don't have to agree with everyone, and you don't have to enjoy everything the same way. You do need to respect the people around you.

Please use common sense, respect boundaries, and remember that there are real people behind the screens.

If these guidelines are violated, moderators may delete messages, issue timeouts, or issue bans at their discretion. Repeated or serious violations may result in permanent exclusion from the community.

Chat Behavior

Please

  • Be respectful, welcoming, and inclusive toward others.
  • Keep messages reasonably relevant to the stream or ongoing conversation.
  • Use emotes thoughtfully. During hype or special moments, extra emotes and celebration are welcome.
  • Respect people who communicate in languages different from your own.
  • Allow moderators to handle disruptive behavior.
  • Report rule violations rather than engaging with or feeding trolls.

Please avoid

  • Harassment, trolling, or offensive remarks, including racist, homophobic, or transphobic comments.
  • Spamming, excessive emotes, or excessive use of all caps.
  • Trauma-dumping or bringing highly personal or emotionally heavy topics into public chat.
  • Starting political, religious, or similarly sensitive discussions during streams.
  • Mentioning subscriber, follower, or viewer counts unless JoqniX has brought them up.
  • Excessively addressing, tagging, or attempting to start private conversations with other viewers. Please take extended conversations elsewhere.
  • Backseating or giving unsolicited advice unless JoqniX has explicitly invited it.

Language & Communication

You may speak in any language you are comfortable with.

Regardless of the language being used, the same community guidelines apply.

Please be courteous toward people who communicate differently and do not use language as a way to exclude, mock, or harass others.

JoqniX is a multilingual community. Speaking a different language from the majority of chat is completely fine. Just remember that everyone should still be able to participate comfortably.

Respect for Creator Boundaries

Please respect JoqniX's personal and creative boundaries.

  • Do not pressure JoqniX for personal information or private access, including face reveals or behind-the-scenes access.
  • Do not demand personal responses, attention, or interaction.
  • Avoid placing emotional pressure on JoqniX, particularly during intense or important moments.
  • Do not expect JoqniX to respond to every message, comment, or donation.
  • JoqniX may not be able to read every comment, message, or donation aloud. This does not mean your support is unappreciated.

A message not being read does not mean it was ignored intentionally. Streams can move quickly, and it's impossible to respond to everyone.

Spoilers & Backseating

Unless JoqniX explicitly invites it:

  • Do not provide gameplay tips, solutions, hints, or spoilers.
  • Do not guide JoqniX through a game simply because they appear stuck.
  • Do not reveal upcoming story events or information that JoqniX has not encountered yet.
  • Do not tell JoqniX what they "should" do unless advice has been requested.

Thinking out loud is not an invitation for help.

If JoqniX wants assistance, they will ask for it.

Emotes & Hype Moments

Major moments such as music premieres, karaoke finales, lore reveals, celebrations, and other special events are a great time to get loud.

Extra emotes, cheering, and wotagei-style responses are welcome! 🌟

Outside of these moments, please avoid flooding chat with repeated messages or emote-only spam that makes it difficult for others to follow the conversation.

Hype responsibly. Celebrate the moment without making it impossible for everyone else to follow the chat.

Community Behavior

The Konzteller community is made up of people with different personalities, interests, languages, backgrounds, and ways of enjoying the fandom.

You don't have to agree with another person's interpretation, favorite character, headcanon, or way of enjoying JoqniX.

Please do not:

  • Gatekeep who is or isn't a "real fan."
  • Harass people over their interpretations or opinions.
  • Police how other people enjoy the community.
  • Turn disagreements between fans into personal conflicts.
  • Pressure other community members to participate in activities they don't want to join.
  • Encourage dogpiling or coordinated harassment against another person.

Disagreement is normal. Turning disagreement into harassment is not.

Supporting JoqniX

Your presence in the community is already support. You never need to spend money to be part of the Konzteller community.

If you choose to donate, subscribe, or otherwise financially support JoqniX:

  • Do not use money to demand attention, favors, or personal interaction.
  • Keep donation messages respectful and reasonably relevant.
  • Understand that messages may not always be read aloud.
  • Do not use donations to bring up private or highly personal issues.
  • Only spend money that you are genuinely comfortable spending.

Some events may include specific supporter rewards or acknowledgements. Outside of those explicitly announced situations, support is not transactional.

Please take care of yourself first. Supporting JoqniX should never come at the expense of your own needs.

Speaking on Behalf of JoqniX

Being a fan does not make someone an official representative of JoqniX.

Please do not present yourself as speaking for JoqniX unless you have been explicitly authorized to do so.

Do not:

  • Make announcements that appear to be official.
  • Pretend to be JoqniX staff or moderation staff.
  • "Enforce" JoqniX's rules on behalf of the project.
  • Create accounts that intentionally appear to be official JoqniX accounts.
  • Claim that JoqniX has endorsed, approved, or partnered with something when no such statement has been made.

When sharing information about JoqniX, make it clear when you are speaking as a fan rather than as an official representative.

Feedback & Criticism

You're allowed to dislike something.

You're allowed to disagree with a creative decision.

You're allowed to suggest improvements.

Constructive criticism is welcome when it is expressed respectfully.

Please avoid:

  • Turning criticism into harassment.
  • Guilt-tripping JoqniX over creative decisions.
  • Demanding specific content, schedules, or changes.
  • Repeatedly pressuring JoqniX after a decision has already been made.
  • Using other community members to pressure or campaign for a particular outcome.

Criticism is welcome when respectful. Entitlement is not.

Privacy & Personal Information

Please protect your own privacy and the privacy of others.

Do not share private or personally identifying information in public community spaces, including:

  • Real names
  • Addresses
  • Phone numbers
  • Private social media accounts
  • Personal contact information
  • Private conversations
  • Information obtained outside the community

This applies to JoqniX, moderators, guests, and other community members.

Knowing something about someone privately does not mean it is okay to share it publicly.

Handling Violations

If you encounter problematic behavior:

  • Do not escalate the situation.
  • Do not start a public argument with the person involved.
  • Use available platform tools such as Report, Block, or Timeout where appropriate.
  • Let moderators and JoqniX handle enforcement.

Moderators may issue warnings when appropriate, but warnings are not guaranteed.

Depending on the severity or circumstances, messages may be removed or users may be timed out or banned without prior notice.

Repeated or serious violations may result in permanent exclusion from the community.

Don't feed the troll. If someone is clearly trying to cause a reaction, reporting or blocking them is usually more helpful than engaging.

Final Note

These guidelines may evolve as the community grows and new situations arise.

When in doubt, use common sense, respect the people around you, and give moderators and JoqniX room to handle situations appropriately.

The goal isn't to police every conversation.

It's to make the community a place where everyone, including you, other Konztellers, guests, moderators, and JoqniX, can enjoy being here.

Be kind. Respect boundaries. Don't feed trolls. Let people enjoy things differently. 🌟
