Guidelines
Branding & Attribution
JoqniX is my VTuber identity and creative project. It includes my character, streams, videos, music, artwork, lore, and the community built around them.
This page covers two things:
- How JoqniX should be represented when people create or share content related to me.
- How creators and resources used in JoqniX content should be credited when attribution is required.
The short version: Give credit where credit is required, make fan-made content clearly unofficial, and don't present yourself or your work as being officially from JoqniX when it isn't.
Official vs. Unofficial
There is a difference between content created by me and content created by the community.
Fan art, fan projects, clips, edits, stories, games, music, and other community creations are unofficial unless I have specifically stated otherwise.
If there is a reasonable chance that someone could mistake your work for something created or approved by me, make its unofficial nature clear.
For example:
This is an unofficial fan creation based on JoqniX. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by JoqniX.
For works inspired by the Onaixia universe, you can also use:
This is an unofficial fan creation inspired by the Onaixia universe and the JoqniX project.
You do not need to add a disclaimer to every casual mention of JoqniX. The purpose is simply to avoid genuine confusion about who created or approved something.
Using the JoqniX Name
It is completely normal to mention JoqniX when talking about my content or creating fan works.
Examples include:
- "Fan art of JoqniX."
- "A fan-made JoqniX clip."
- "An unofficial JoqniX fan project."
- "A fan-made Onaixia lore archive."
- "A JoqniX-inspired song."
However, please do not use the JoqniX name in a way that falsely suggests that I created, operate, or officially endorse something.
Avoid presenting a fan project as:
- "Official JoqniX."
- "JoqniX Official Community."
- "JoqniX Official Game."
- "JoqniX Official Archive."
unless I have actually authorized and designated it as official.
Fan Accounts & Community Projects
Fan accounts and community projects are welcome when they are clearly presented as fan-made.
Examples include:
- Fan-run social media accounts.
- Fan Discord servers.
- Fan wikis.
- Fan archives.
- Community databases.
- Fan websites.
- Fan-made applications and tools.
- Fan media projects.
If you create one of these, please:
- Clearly identify it as unofficial.
- Do not present yourself as JoqniX.
- Do not claim to be my staff or representative.
- Do not claim to speak on my behalf.
- Do not make announcements appear to come from me.
- Do not imply that I have approved or endorsed your project when I have not.
- Provide appropriate attribution when using JoqniX-related material.
Being a dedicated fan or community organizer does not make someone an official representative of JoqniX.
Logos & Official Branding
My logos, artwork, model, graphics, and other official visual materials are part of the JoqniX project.
Please do not use official branding in a way that makes a fan project or unrelated account appear to be an official JoqniX account or project.
This includes:
- Creating an account that looks like my official account.
- Using JoqniX branding as the primary identity of an unrelated project.
- Modifying official branding in a misleading way.
- Presenting fan-made graphics as official JoqniX promotional material.
- Using JoqniX branding to imply a sponsorship, partnership, or endorsement that does not exist.
Specific rules concerning the use of artwork, models, and other JoqniX materials are covered in the Derivative Works guidelines.
Being able to access an image, logo, model, or other JoqniX asset does not automatically mean that you have permission to reuse it however you want.
Impersonation
Please do not impersonate me or pretend to be an official JoqniX representative.
This includes:
- Pretending to be JoqniX.
- Creating accounts intended to look like my official accounts.
- Pretending to be my staff or moderators.
- Making announcements that appear to come from me.
- Claiming that I approved something when I did not.
- Fabricating collaborations, sponsorships, or announcements.
- Using my identity to deceive or mislead other people.
If you are sharing information as a fan, make that distinction clear.
Please do not speak on behalf of JoqniX unless I have explicitly authorized you to do so.
Credits & Attribution
JoqniX content may include artwork, music, graphics, fonts, overlays, 3D assets, software, plugins, commissioned work, and other resources created or provided by other people.
When an asset or service requires attribution, I will provide credit according to the creator's or license's requirements where applicable.
This may include crediting:
- Artists and illustrators.
- Live2D artists and riggers.
- Musicians and composers.
- Designers.
- Stream asset creators.
- Font creators.
- Music and sound-effect providers.
- 3D asset creators.
- Software and plugin developers.
- Other creators whose work is used in JoqniX content.
Credits may appear in places such as:
- Stream descriptions.
- Video descriptions.
- Social media posts.
- The JoqniX website.
- Credits sections.
- Dedicated asset or creator pages.
- Project documentation.
Attribution requirements can vary depending on the creator, service, or license. A credit on this website does not replace any additional requirements attached to the original asset.
Commissioned & Collaborative Work
Some JoqniX content may be created through commissions or collaborations with other creators.
When sharing commissioned or collaborative work, the relevant creators should be credited where appropriate and according to any agreed crediting requirements.
This can include:
- Illustrators.
- Character designers.
- Live2D artists.
- Riggers.
- Musicians.
- Composers.
- Video editors.
- Animators.
- Graphic designers.
- 3D artists.
- Other collaborators.
Please do not assume that commissioning a piece of work means that the commissioner created the work themselves.
The person who created an artwork, model, song, animation, or other work should be credited appropriately when attribution is required.
Credit for Fan Works
If you create a fan work based on JoqniX, please credit the relevant source where appropriate.
Depending on the work, this may include:
- Mentioning JoqniX.
- Linking to the official website.
- Crediting the original artist when using their work.
- Identifying the work as unofficial.
- Crediting additional creators whose work you incorporated.
For example:
Unofficial JoqniX fan art inspired by the JoqniX project.
or:
Fan-made JoqniX clip. Original stream by JoqniX.
Attribution should be clear enough that viewers can understand the relationship between your work and the original source.
Sharing JoqniX Content
When sharing clips, screenshots, artwork, music, or other JoqniX content, please avoid removing information that identifies the original creator or source when that information is reasonably available.
Where appropriate:
- Link to the original post or video.
- Tag the relevant account.
- Credit the original creator.
- Keep existing watermarks or credits intact.
- Avoid presenting reposted material as your own creation.
For detailed rules about clips, edits, remixes, and other fan creations, see the Derivative Works guidelines.
Social Media Hashtags
Hashtags can help people find JoqniX-related content.
When sharing fan-made content, you may use relevant hashtags when they accurately describe what you are posting.
Suggested tags:
| Purpose | Hashtag |
|---|---|
| General JoqniX content | #JoqniX |
| Live streams | #JoqLive |
| Fan art | #Joqillust |
| Clips & edits | #JoqClips |

| Fangames | #JoqFangame |
| MMD & 3D works | #JoqMMD |
| Fan media | #JoqMedia |
| Community assets & tools | #Asset4Joq |
Please avoid using JoqniX-related hashtags on unrelated content.
Do not use JoqniX hashtags in a way that makes unrelated commercial, promotional, political, or other third-party content appear connected to me.
Official Website
When linking people to JoqniX's official website, you can use:
The official website can be used as a reference point for confirmed information about JoqniX and the project.
Commercial & Promotional Use
This page does not grant commercial or promotional permission to use JoqniX artwork, models, music, logos, or other official materials.
Rules concerning commercial use are addressed separately in the Commercial Use Guidelines.
Until specific permissions are established, please do not assume that giving credit automatically gives you permission to commercially use JoqniX materials.
Credit is not permission. Giving attribution does not automatically grant additional rights to reproduce, modify, or commercially use official JoqniX materials.
Attribution Does Not Transfer Ownership
Giving credit to a creator does not mean that you own their work.
Likewise, appearing in JoqniX content does not necessarily mean that I created or own every individual asset used in that content.
Different works and resources can have different creators, licenses, and usage conditions.
When in doubt, check the original creator's stated terms before reusing an asset.
Reporting Misuse
If you come across an account, website, project, or piece of content that appears to impersonate JoqniX or falsely claim to be affiliated with me, you can report it through the appropriate contact method.
When reporting an issue, please provide:
- A link to the relevant content.
- Screenshots where useful.
- A description of the issue.
- Any relevant context.
Please do not harass, threaten, or publicly target the person involved.
If something appears to misuse my identity or branding, reporting it is more helpful than starting a public confrontation.
Final Note
Attribution helps recognize the people who contribute to JoqniX and helps everyone understand where content comes from.
Whether you are creating fan work, sharing my content, or simply enjoying the project, a little credit and clarity can go a long way.
Credit the creators. Keep fan work clearly unofficial. Respect the work behind the content. 🌟
